Over the years, I got the opportunity to facilitate training for new and tenured employees. These experiences help a lot when creating training content. Having a better idea of what will work in class or in a virtual environment, it also allows me to be more accurate when creating a course or designing and timing a full curriculum.
Having launched a new LOB for the European market, I facilitated new hired training for boss in-site and vendor partners' audiences. Delivering training across all Europe gave me an insight of the challenges vendors might face and what to consider when creating content to ensure trainers from all level of experience can confidently provide a consistent learning experience.
Whether it was for the creation of an internal reporting tool, the advertisement of the L&D and Sales department on an internal platform, or the creation of a support tool for front line specialists, my experience in communication, my expertise in using industry standard softwares and my knowledge of coding and web languages always have allowed me to bring to life even the most creative ideas.
Whatever solution I design, the user experience is always at the center. Any interface or piece of design has to be intuitive, easy to use and attractive.
It cannot only simply work, it has to give you the wish to use it, click it, play with it. And you should not need any user guide to know what to do.
Creating training content, coordinating training delivery, creating training events, managing the creation of new process and procedures for local and WW needs, I have managed countless projects over the years.
Using globally recognised approach such as the Waterfall methodology or the ADDIE model, I know how to adapt my approach according to the project and its structure.
Finally, I am also a certified Scrum Master. I wanted this certification to be up to speed with this industry standard framework as in my view in encompass most of the benefits of other methodology while providing a much more flexible and efficient project management structure.
VOC - Voice of the Customer-, VOA/S - Voice of the Agent/Specialists-, call calibration, quality data analysis, I have supported and been involved in a number of projects to report on overall performance, on improvement opportunities and recommend corrective measures when necessary.
Some of the projects involved vendor support which brought an additional layer to consider in regards to co-employment compliance.
Working hand in hand with Corporate Coaches, I had the opportunity to go through the Coaching curriculum "Coaching at Apple". This allowed me to have a SMART approach when coaching and delivering feedback to learners and guest trainers.
- French: Native - I was born and bread in France.
- English: Fluent - I spent the past 15 years studying, living and working using English as my primary language.
- Spanish: Conversational - My family in law are Mexican and only speak Spanish. I can only improve. I just miss some vocabulary to be able to transition from conversational to fluent.
Having a background in communication, I created and organised many events. Whether it was for charity or to promote local arts and boost mid-week sales of a Parisian pub, from the concept to its promotion and execution I was part of coordinating it all.
Later when building a career in L&D, it has been countless training events that I was responsible to create and coordinate.
I initiated a project on Accessibility to create more awareness and to help front line Specialists to be more confident when discussing accessibility with customers.
It was an opportunity to have a site wide impact and help everyone be more knowledgeable about accessibility as a general topic and about the technological solution which are available nowadays.
As a result, working with global team cross functionally and across different geos, I created a set of training and organised a conference for a targeted audience around Accessibility.
Whether it was managing class of sometimes over 25 people, mentoring guest trainers, supporting Specialists in their personal development plan, influencing stakeholders when leading projects or covering for a sales manager, I have supported and managed people in many instances.
Using a SMART approach to provide people and at time coach them on their progress, I am grateful for the trust many gave me in allowing me to be part of their personal journey.
My first use of html and Flash dates back to 2003. Since then I continuously kept myself up to speed through the different html iteration, learn how to write in CSS, php and mySQL.
Throughout my career, it allowed me to create internal tools and for me personally to be able to create whatever I have in mind for myself.
This website is an illustration of my knowledge and capability in regards to web design. It will continue to grow as I intend to build a full administration system to update the content via a WYSIWYG interface.

Over the past 6 years, while working with many stakeholders from various departments, I was able to gain tremendous experience and apply some of the industry standard Adult Learning Methodology.
From analysing knowledge and behavioural gap, identifying relevant training opportunities, using an ADDIE approach to provide consistency in service and results to implement and report on ongoing success analysis leveraging the Kirkpatrick model, more than just experience, it allows me to have a real vision as to what an efficient Adult Learning Approach should look like.
Having done customer facing job for one of the most demanding company in the world, I know exactly what entails providing and creating memorable and satisfying customer experience.
And if KPIs such as "Customer Satisfaction" or "Net Promoter Score" are critical to a successful Customer success approach, they are only giving you part of the story.

This website was done thanks to CotEditor which is a simple and improved text editor and MAMP for coding the php and mySQL side of it. Would I need to use Dreameaver or any other web development tool, it would not be a difficult task.
And if you wonder why coding everything? Simply because I love to know how. When something goes wrong, it's much easier to quickly know from where.
