Video Gaming was one of my big passions. It was also during the 90's that I got the opportunity to live the beginning of the Internet being available to the public.

My experience with computer started with an Atari 520STF. Then years later I really fell into it with a Pentium 60. Passioned about gaming, I learned how to create multiple configurations boots and was building my own computers.

Ah the old time of installing Windows 3.11, when the process was crashing when loading the 10th floppy disk and you had to restart from scratch!! Unforgettable!!

It was also the time when I transitioned from bicycle to motocycle. More than just a transportation tool, it was for me the door to freedom and the ability to trip around.

I was eager to learn as much as possible and studied science in high school to keep all my doors open when going to university.

After graduating with a baccalaureate in Science, I studied 1 year of general Biology and 1 year in computer science before reconsidering which futur I wanted to build for myself and redirect towards corporate communication, marketing and business administration.

The new millenium was full of change. Leaving my country town, after 2 years studying graduating in corporate communication, I moved to Paris to continue my studies and expend my professional experience.

While studying, I was creating and organising events, having internships in communication agency as project manager assistant and even working as a journalist and car test driver for the main online car website in France, Caradisiac

All the articles I wrote at the time are still available on Caradisiac's website - Click here.

In 2006, for my second year of MBA, I had the opportunity to go finish my studies in Australia. I ended up living a full year in Ballarat in the state of Victoria

During that time, on top of my studies, I learnt surfing, scuba diving and even tried to get a taste for Marmite. Did not quite succeeded on that last one I must confess. And most importantly I met the most influential person in my life who would later become my wife and most precious partner of our life endeavours.

Studying for my MBA gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I was finally able to feel confident in talking and working in English while learning about international finance and business administration.

I graduated with an MBA from both my French school of Commerce INSEEC Paris - Click here - and Ballarat University which is now part of the Federation University Australia - Click here.

After graduating, I got the opportunity to start my career in Vietnam. Discovering the Vietnamese culture was enlightening. I was blessed to meet amazing people and make some life lasting friendship.

Working as Business Development Consultant for one of the main below the line communication agency at the time, Biz Solutions have since been rebranded Biz Tequila when it joined the TBWA Group in 2008.

During my time within the company, I was responsible for the recommendation and the execution of digital projects for key customers such as the insurance company, Prudential Vietnam or the main mobile network provider Mobifone. I also made an investigation on the opportunity to add SEO consulting to the portfolio of service the company was offering.

After getting married in Mexico where my wife is from, we lived for a while in Canada before going back to Europe.

It was as exciting of a time, discovering new culture, meeting new people as it was challenging.

When the financial crisis hit Canada in early 2009, we were in Montreal. I have the vivid memory of one day going to a full of life mall and discovering the same mall completely empty the following day. This was no joke.

Working as a freelance French teacher, I helped students and young professionals to improve their French proficiency.

Due to the financial crisis, many job opening were put on hold or cancelled. It ultimately drove our decision to return to Europe.

Early 2010, I had the opportunity to relocate to Ireland. New country, new culture, new change, new adventure.

Cork became our home for over 10 years. There I developed some long lasting passion for photography, discovered new ones with wakeboarding and kitesurfing.

For 10 years, we continued to travel the world during holidays. Yet our long term plan has always been to return to Mexico.

In 2019, my wife was pregnant and due to special circumstances, she had to deliver our newborn son in Mexico.

Little did I know this would be the drive for us to turn a new page and start a new chapter in our life.

I started a career in Apple's European Headquarter in Technical Support. I quickly got the opportunity to transfer to the Sales department where I supported the French Chat line.

Beside developing my expertise in Sales and customer service in one if not the most demanding company in regards to customer experience, I also developed my leadership and managerial skills by acting as Assistant Team Leader and being involved in many employee training projects.

This led me to join the Learning & Development Team in 2014 and starting my career in Adult Learning, Content Creation and Instructional Design by coordinating local and global Learning projects.

If studying, working and living abroad teaches you one thing, it is how to deal with is change and ambiguity.

2020 will definitely be a major year in the history books. It has been completely reshaping many aspects of our societies and deeply affected billions.

Because of Covid, travelling has been a challenge, but evermore many administrations closed or have been working in slow mo.

As a result, it was becoming very challenging for me to keep working in Ireland while my newborn and wife were stuck in Mexico.

How do you deal with change? You need to start by accepting it and shape a plan you are confortable with. What I can control is how I can use this change and create an opportunity.

2020 is the year when our long term plan to relocate to Mexico got the opportunity to become a very short term plan.

My wife and I quit the company. I left in July 2020 and manage to move all our 10 years worth of belongings on the other site of the globe. I relocated to Mexico permanently in September 2020.

Since then I have been looking for a new job opportunity. But I am not only sending resume and spending my time on LinkedIn.

Passionate about content creation and creativity, I have restarted to use design software on an everyday basis, updated myself in html and CSS and plan in continuing developing my web presence.

I am really looking forward 2020's as I'm sure the years to come will be at least as exciting than the 10 past ones.
